1. To initiate and develop social mobilization process to establish community based organization (CBO)
2. To establish operation and maintenance committees (O &M) for sustainability of WFP
3. To insure communities are actively involved in all Programme or in projects activities.
4. To insure quality feedback on every social mobilization activity in the field is properly transmitted to the management.
5.. Awareness raising sessions on WASH, Solid waste management, and health profile in targeted area and to mobilize communities strongly, about all these Programme mentioned above, through sessions, meeting and trainings with the communities, and to insure the target population are mobilized and adequately informed.
6. To insure all necessary Programme documents are properly maintained and recorded.
7. To insure smooth implementation of organization policies and code of conduct in respective communities as well as within the organization, and also to handle beneficiaries and stakeholders complaints.
To provide and take care of all those effected by September 2019 earth quack, the focus is needs of child, prevention, paramount, partnership, protection and parental responsibilities. And facilitation for all those special women psychologically effected by earth quack and domestic violence referring them to psychologist.
Participates is a member of team works cooperatively with others and contributes to groups with ideas. Builds relationship with beneficiaries, works and communicate well with beneficiaries. Advocate for encouraging participation of local beneficiaries with strong emphasis on women, children, ethnic and disadvantaged groups and minorities. Develop and maintain documents of all project activities. As will as fully aware with the culture and norms of the complete area of the earthquake, Samwal Sharif, Afzalpur, Nawagaran etc.
Community Organization/ Peace and Development Committees were formed in the project area at community level COs were Integrated into Village Organization at Union Council level and further integrated VOs at Tehsil Level into Local Support Organizations Capacity of COs, VOs and LSOs was strengthened through various trainings Resolving issue within communities and between communities and firm/organization/other stake holders Assistance was provided to M&E unit in project’s monitoring, coordination activities Data was collection about the Community Infrastructure, peace building and social mobilization Assistance was provide in program baseline/ need assessment surveys, midterm reviews, end of project reviews and impact assessments and other relevant studies as per the programs Regular visits were carried out to the field to assess program. Coordination was regularly done with district government and PaRRSA. Assistance was provided in the supervision and organization of consultative workshops, trainings, seminars, field visits, delegation tours etc.
Undertake social community mobilization activities of the project Carry out Knowledge, aptitude and practices (KAP) study in order to understand the level of existing KAP indicators Assist in Conducting DP/DRR trainings, develop risk maps and DRR school action plans Organize regular socialization sessions, drills and simulations for schools, communities, government bodies and CBOs. Ensure regular meetings with teachers, parents, education officers, school management committees and community leaders Assist in assessment and identification of appropriate “safe places” in the project area Assist in Identification of minor DRR measures in schools and advocacy for maintenance and refilling needs. ) Introducing the Sungi’s program, its objectives and approach to the community with a primary focus on poverty alleviation. Assisting the community in needs identification and prioritization of the individuals, groups and community's needs for poverty alleviation. Design and implement the program packages, as a result of the needs identified. Monitor the activities regularly and report the necessary information. Assist the community in organizing themselves into groups and community organization. Train the office bearers & activists in maintaining the record of community organization, including agenda preparation, meeting conducting and recording of financial transactions. Develop Program credibility through sustained interaction with Community Organization and establish a working relationship in which both parties act as collaborators in supporting the Community Organization to alleviate poverty. CPIs (Community Infrastructure Programs) To assist the communities in the Identification of prioritize needs, preparation of social feasibility and TOP. Ensure the proper utilization of funds, timely implementation and completion of schemes. HRD (Human Recourse Development) Assess the training needs of the community, capacity of the trainees and recommend for training courses. Monitor the trainee performance; provide facilitation by taking sessions on social organization. Report the Progress as per requirement of the program. Social Sector & Gender Issues Motivate the communities on gender based activities. Create friendly environment in the office. Establish linkages with Govt. Departments & other NGOs. ) Familiarize self with the Age friendly concepts Participate in the Age friendly orientation and training program Translate the Recommended Training modules into local languages Prepare a strategic work plan and gain approval Design, plan and implement Training Need Assessment Based on the TNA design and modify and include modules in the training curriculum Translation of the training curriculums and teaching materials into the local languages Plan and organize training workshops , Monitor progress and ensures quality of training Prepare pre and post training assessment questionnaires Write Post training reports Organize and implement the training of trainers and the trickle downs at the HF and community levels as and when required for the HFs level. Participate in the development of training modules and curriculum, using appropriate methodologies to fulfill identified training needs among targeted health workers including Healthy Ageing, Age friendly PHC and other health education activities. Ensure proper and in-time reporting of the trainings Discuss regularly with other teams and participate in the planning and reviewing process regarding the progress of implementation. Undertake/ assist with needs assessment as and when necessary under the directions of PO Prepare weekly and monthly activity reports for inclusion in the project report.
