概要

As a Program Associate at the World Bank Group, I am providing administrative and client support to Health and Education Global Practices and to the Program Leader for Human Development GPs cluster in Islamabad Office. I keep close liaison with HQ/ country teams as well as with counterparts/ clients both in federal and provincial governments. I review key project data on commitments, disbursements, procurement, staffing, travel etc. using SAP generated reports, to give the task teams a general view of project performance from time to time. I am also managing Bank missions, events, consultant/ firm selections and payments for my units in Pakistan.

Earlier as a Country Office Administrator at Oxford Policy Management (OPM), I was a core team member of Pakistan office and was an integral part of a series of projects implemented in the country. I played a major role in establishing and registering the OPM country office in Islamabad. It was the first ever country office of OPM out of United Kingdom. I successfully managed office, accounts (salary disbursements, monthly/annual expense reports, petty cash handling) and procurement. I also worked with bid administration team to provide support in project budgeting.

Since August 2002, I have been involved in providing a comprehensive range of management services to private and international nongovernmental organisations in Pakistan. I have worked on a number of health and education related projects funded by World Bank and DfID, through which I have managed to achieve extensive experience in administration, finance, IT and project management.

I hold Executive MBA, Master in Project Management (MPM) degrees and also have a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Sciences. I am member of Project Management Institute (PMI) USA and hold the globally-recognized certification of Project Management Professional (PMP).
