Mechanical Rotating Technician (2nd Feb 2020 to 16th March 2020 )
Brunel oil and gas services W.L.L Company Qatar.
It is approximated 2 month turnover at LLDPE Plant of the Qatar petrochemical company (QAPCO).Performed the Shutdown with Brunel company in Qatar Petrochemical company (QAPCO).performed the following tasks.
o Overhauling of the twin screw extruder with barrels and Palletiser of German Coperion Company.
o Study of the technical assembly and dismantling drawings and P&I of operations sequence of the plant.
o Study of the commissioning and installation drawing of the plant accessories and axillaries system.
o Performed the all shutdown activities hand on experience by using different tools and techniques.
It was one year training program; started from the Operations Dept. It was three months orientation, where I was offered to learn the basics of Combined cycle Power Plant, BOP systems, Gas Turbine, Heat Recovery, and Steam Turbine Systems. The learning perspective of systems was based on: Purpose of system, Process Flow (P&ID), Equipment used, Detailed Description, Factors effecting on the system, and Limitations of systems. After three months orientation of Operations Dept., switched to the Mechanical Maintenance Dept. Started from the learning of safety protocols, safety procedures, use for the performing different maintenance activities at plant. I have been engaged on daily basis activities (CM & PM), starting from the generating a job request, placing the work orders, generating the work risk assessment reports, till the execution of the work activity, and cancellation of work permit. Beside of that, soft skills are also being considered to improve, such as technical report writing, Maximo operation, and excel work sheet, my technical knowledge, hands on experience upon mechanical activities are as fallow:
o Routine base PMs and CMs on gas turbine, steam turbine and HRSG.

o Backlash of gearing mechanism

Performed Major Inspection (Three Shutdown) of Gas turbine Frame 9E. (10 Oct 2019 to 20 Nov 2019).
o Inspection (NDT) and maintenance of HRSG (HP ,IP LP Drums)
o Inspection and maintenance of valves ( globe valve, gate valve , none returns valve ,ball valve, butter fly valve, MCV and diaphragm valve)

o Check Cooling tower fan angle and track as well.
o Performed shaft alignment by using Rim and Face method and check shaft Run out.
Monitor and inspect the Rigging with crane (SWL) of capacity (360, 200, 100, 50 ton) lifted the weight 5 to 35 ton.
