Instrument Technician
The Instrumentation & Controls Technician I disassembles, inspects, cylinder, pneumatic switch Coriolis flow meter, sipart ps2 hart positioner , Orifice plates, Thermometers, RTDs, Thermo wells & Thermocouples, level transmitters, level switches , flow transmitters DP & diaphragm, magnetic flow meter , controls valves limit switches electromagnetic flow meter, open & close tank with dry leg, level transmitters calibrates and tests, and performs periodic maintenance of field instruments, optical encoders and rotary encoders, hydraulic and pneumatic valves, equipment systems and controls. Evaluates and determines necessary modification, performs complex repairs or removal of instruments or devices needing overhaul during scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting while performing unscheduled work, Loop checking is the process that confirms the components wired correctly and also helps to ensure that the system is functioning as designed, Distributed Control Systems (DCS) are correlated to pay that is above average, Plant Maintenance and Instrument Control, and know about process control parameters, PLC Program Backup, save a copy of PLC program during operations daily routine & fault diagnosis maintenance to ensure a fairly up-to-date backup.
