<div><p>This Final year’s project is based on investigating the possibility of using an LFAC as an alternative to the conventional transmission system. One of the most severe issues the world is facing is Climate Change, and this issue can be tackled by Energy generation by renewable resources and innovating transmission and LFAC is the latest transmission technology for more power transfer capability and voltage stability. This research work describes the discussion of the features and behaviors of the three-phase low-frequency AC (LFAC) transmission system. LFAC becomes a popular and profitable long-distance transmission system due to its high power transfer capability and low power losses. A study has been conducted to determine whether the coastal wind farm can be integrated with LFAC to meet the requirements of system compliance. LFAC transmission system inherits benefits both from HVAC and HVDC systems. In this research work benefits of LFAC such as the capability of power transfer and voltage, stability will be discussed. The PSCAD/ PSSE software is used for simulation and modeling of the system to process the performance of each LFAC program on line frequencies and at lower frequencies. These results can lead to determining the most suitable transmission system for the LFAC system operation.</p></div>
