Duties and Responsibilities
Within delegated authority and under the supervision of the WFP Programme Officer, the Field Monitor Assistant will be responsible for the following duties:

Coordinate and monitor the implementation of the assistance programme at the sub-office /field level, in close collaboration with the cooperating partners;
Represent WFP at programme related coordination meetings and similar activities;
In close coordination with logistics, monitor and review the overall commodity movements such as food deliveries, storage, transport and distribution at the site and verify if the amounts received have been properly recorded, damaged or suspected to be damaged;
Monitor and review the distribution and redemption of cash and vouchers, and verify that the related data management and reporting is accurate;
Supervise the efficient and proper distribution of food items and vouchers at the site and provide feedback to the WFP Officer and others on the distribution;
Undertake post-distribution monitoring as well as monitoring of shops, as required;

Working as a team leader in flood emergency response project.Flood Response to Affected Communities through Cash Based Transfer.

Working with SRPO as a health supervisor with  in nutrition project.

Work in a SMART survey as a team lead.

Repare activity implementation plan and discuss the required resources to undertake the activity
Ensure the community participation the project activities
Form / re-organise Community Based organizations (CBOs) male/female
 Conduct Village mapping/profiling through different PRA tools (i.e. is BBCMs, Mapping/profile, conflict resolution wealth ranking etc
 Mobilise community and orient project and organisation’s mandate.
Identify and organize appropriate capacity building, and technical resources to support project implementation
Ensure efficient and effective implementation of Food Security, Livelihoods, Cash transfer and WASH related interventions at community level.

Develop, implement, and assess monitoring frameworks for all AIHA partnerships and projects, as well as for funding proposals
    Develop the overall framework for project M&E systems in collaboration with donor and senior project staff, including requirements, reporting, baseline, and evaluation surveys; develop and monitor project management plan to systematically document performance
    Ensure the alignment of M&E activities with program goals
    Maintain existing indicator tracking tools; develop additional databases and tracking tools as needed to demonstrate the effectiveness of project interventions 
 

Compiles, analyzes, and clarifies information, data, and research regarding environmental management and climate change. Analyzes existing climate or environmental management legislation, regulations, policies, and practices to determine actual and potential environment impacts.

To identify the priority villages and to mobilize the community on WASH intervention.
    To conduct CLTS approach.
    To conduct hygiene and MHM sessions to sensitize the community on healthy practices to implement them in their daily life.
    Committee formation at village level and to organize and conduct training for WASH Committee members.
    Identification of CRPs and capacity building training for CRPs.
    Formation of school WASH clubs and to conduct hygiene and MHM sessions at the school level.
