概要

Having environmental along with civil engineering background of more than 12 years vast experience in project design, implementation, coordination, strategic program development, leadership skills, team management, mentoring, capacity building and proven experience of working in all major disasters during the course of my experience.

I have been participating as Strategic/Technical Review Committee (SRC/TRC) member for WASH Cluster to review the WASH proposals for Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund (AHF) managed by Humanitarian Financing Unit (HFU) of the United Nations (UN) office for the coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA). My experiences also include concept note/proposals, appraisal of NGOs proposals to Rapid Fund under BHA, capacity building training of Implementing Partners, rapid assessment, LFA, tools development, reporting, monitoring evaluation of ongoing projects, coordination with WASH, Shelter and other relevant Clusters. I am also leading/led a technical working group of consortium members.
I have been involved in setting up emergency response (from acute emergency to recovery and development) in all calamities (manmade disasters/conflict, earthquake, flood, cholera/AWD outbreak, Covid-19 and drought) in Afghanistan Pakistan with International/National NGOs.
My duties have been largely in challenging situations, demanding the quick set up of emergency initiatives and bases which entail response planning, situation analysis, project concept and budget estimates and establishing coordination with local authorities, humanitarian actors and UN cluster leads with strong advocacy initiatives on protecting the rights of vulnerable groups. Being a focal person for coordination and member of technical working groups under UN lead clusters for WASH and Shelter I have provided technical support in developing different guidelines for NGOs response in WASH and Shelter in different parts of Afghanistan Pakistan for different disasters.
I have strong technical skills in designing and estimation of WASH in communities, health care facilities and schools (water trucking, borehole designing, solar designing, sanitation and hygiene using different approaches), solid/medical waste management, vector control, Shelter and other community infrastructure projects in response to emergencies, suppliers contract management, cash programming, partnership management, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation which strengthened my candidature for strategic level positions like that I am applying.
