·     Plan, coordinate, implement, supervise/monitor and report activities of the project and develop communication network for this purpose in coordination with concerned DHO.
·     Keep effective liaison with local health institutions, key district stakeholders, health authorities and partners in the implementation of the nutrition project in the district.
·     Plan, develop and undertake need-based capacity building trainings in close collaboration with concerned district & provide technical assistance for implementation to the target health facilities in the district.
·     To plan and ensure adequate nutrition supplies are available and regularly replenished at the target health facilities in the Districts.
·     Mobilize, coordinate and supervise/monitor nutrition related field activities of the project staff (Nutrition Assistants), healthcare providers at the facility level (MOs/LHVs/FMTs) and Health Workers at the community level (LHWs/LHSs) and partner organizations [I/NGOs] involved in the implementation of Nutrition program in the target health facilities.
·     Undertake at least 3 days’ field visits in a week on a regular basis and duly report to DHO and Provincial Nutrition Coordinator on findings and develop strategies and recommendations for improvement in the nutrition program.
·     Conduct/facilitate nutritional assessment surveys as and when needed in catchments of the target health facilities.
·     Provide and submit weekly and monthly work plans and activities reports on regular basis to the district surgeon on the agreed timelines and dates
·     Collect data regularly through system-generated documents (MIS etc) and report it to DHO, DHS, focal person Nutrition, UNICEF, WFP and WHO.

• To personally undertake visits to target Nutrition sites/areas to support the project staff and HCPs in achievement of project objectives (at least one full day/week be spent in each Nutrition sites/areas).
• To provide on job training to project staff and HCPs during his visit to Nutrition sites/areas.
• To report to immediately to project Coordinator any gap in skills of staff or project activities so that timely remedies can be found. Assess needs for refresher training of staff and share with project Coordinator.
• To develop linkages with target health facilities, community activists and other stake holders for smooth implementation of the project.
• To develop close relationship with HCPs in target facilities for their regular support to project staff and regular treatment of children with complications.
• To maintain liaison with concerned stabilization centre for facilitation of referral of children.
• To facilitate project staff in maintenance of records of project activities and facilitate and ensure timely preparation of project reports and sent to project office on time.
