• Reviewing and approving of all payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices. • Reconciling processed work by verifying entries, cost center and comparing system. • Paying employees by verifying expense and petty cash reports. • Communicating and resolving vendor and employee discrepancies and issues. • Ensuring compliance with Delegation of Authority Matrix (DOA) and Group Internal Controls Policies. • Monitoring AP Help Desk to ensure timely resolution of tickets and managing monthly AP closing.
• Pre-auditing of purchase order, cheques & vouchers, employee expenses (travel, medical allowance, etc.) and petty cash.
• Pre-auditing cartage bills (invoice, freight, shortage, physical reporting) and ensuring proper documentation for audits.
• Assisting with development of audit programs and pre-auditing of audit segments under Manager Internal Audit.
• Working in close coordination with finance team to ensure compliance with the SOPs.
• Ensuring timely submission of income tax returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Drafting HR policy manuals in coordination with Head; developing short and long term staff requirement strategies.
• Administering payroll and final settlements; maintaining employee records and handling all staff related queries.

• Dealing with service providers (embassies, airlines, hotels, telecoms, insurance) to negotiate terms and facilitate staff.

• Maintaining necessary documentation i.e. Registration / Renewal for Broker, Agents & Branches in PSX & PMEX).
• Preparing bank reconciliations on daily basis, tax challans, e-filings and annual tax certifications.
• Maintaining digital and physical records of invoices and contracts.
