Main responsibilities
 Planning and preparing schemes of work and daily lesson for my classes (CIE/IGCSE and IBDP).
 Assessing, recording and reporting on the progress, development and attainment levels of students, and also maintaining a record of work and marks as per the department prescription
 Preparing students thoroughly to take part in CIE and IBO external examinations, including working with colleagues on strategies, targets and revision programmes.
 Chairing monthly departmental and collaborative meetings and present reports to the Deputy Head of
School forthwith.
 Undertaking walk-throughs and inspections of work done in the classrooms of teachers in of the humanities department.
 Monitoring, supervising, managing and pastoring students in boarding house system which enhances
positively the behaviour of students and also reflects in their academic performance.
 Training and supervising ancillary housing staff that sustains a productive, social and a fair working boarding environment.

 Achieved 100% pass in IBDP Geography in 2017.
 Delivered 100% pass (A* - B) in IGCSE Global Perspectives in 2017.
 Enhanced performance from 46% (A* - C) to a record 100% pass (A* – B) in 2016 IGCSE Geography results.
 Recoded 100% pass (A1 – C4) in 2016 WASSCE Geography results.
 Successfully organized and conducted field trips for students to practice what are taught in the classroom which fostered significantly success levels.
 Chaired monthly departmental collaborative meetings and presented reports to the Deputy Head of
School forthwith.

Major achievements
 Produced 100% pass (A - C) in A’ Level Sociology and 89% pass (A – C) in A’ Level Geography results in
2013.
 Improved IGCSE Geography results from 72% in 2011 to 96% pass (A* – C) in 2012.
 Chaired an academic board that designed and implemented CIE A’ level curriculum in 2011 in Soul Clinic International School, which increased the enrolment of the school through retaining of 50% of IGCSE graduates.
 Successfully headed examination committee that reviewed questions set by teachers and their
respective mark schemes, and also supervised the conduct of both internal and external examinations.
 Gone through the books of every student in my department at least once a term to make sure topics treated synchronize with those submitted in schemes of work by teachers.
 Collected and marked weekly lesson plans on Fridays of the week preceding the week in which the lesson was to be delivered.

Main responsibilities
 Prepared Individual Educational Plan for relatively ‘weak students’ to bring them to appreciable levels, also organized remedial sessions where necessary to meet targets.
 Taught and prepared students thoroughly to take part in CIE and WAEC external examinations, including working with colleagues on strategies, targets and revision programmes.
 Provided professional, ethical and pastoral guidance to students on their further education and future careers including information about sources of expert advice on specific questions.

Major achievements
 Successfully taught and prepared the third batch of Geography students and delivered the first batch of A* students in IGCSE results in 2010.
 Engineered and introduced two additional subjects (history and accounting) in humanities department, once taught, have augmented the department enrolment from 38 to 52 students in 2008.
 Taught and prepared students in Geography for the WASSCE examinations.
 Initiated and implemented the concept of identifying ‘weak’ students in Humanities Department, and
designed personalized educational plan for them, which increased their level of performance.
 Planned and executed all field trips and educational tours for students in Humanities Department.
