We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of relevant experience, a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, and hands-on experience with QuickBooks software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Use QuickBooks software for recording and managing financial data efficiently.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and reporting.
- Handle other accounting-related tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2-3 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks software is a must.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
