About the role:
To oversee and ensure the effective monitoring, evaluation, and accountability of programmes, projects, or initiatives within Pak Mission Society. He will be responsible for developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks, systems, and tools, as well as managing accountability mechanisms to ensure that projects are on track, achieving their objectives, and making a positive impact.
Your impactful goals will include:
Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E):
Develop and implement M&E frameworks and systems to measure the progress and impact of programmes or projects. This may involve designing data collection methods, analyzing data, and preparing reports to inform decision-making.
Accountability Mechanisms:
Establish and manage accountability mechanisms, such as feedback and complaints handling systems, to ensure that stakeholders can provide feedback and raise concerns regarding programmes or project performance.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that programmes or projects adhere to quality standards by conducting regular audits, reviews, and assessments, and providing feedback to improve performance.
Reporting and Communication:
Prepare and disseminate regular reports and updates to stakeholders, including management, donors, and partners, to communicate the progress, achievements, and challenges of programmes or projects.
Capacity Building:
Provide training and support to staff and partners on monitoring, evaluation, and accountability principles, practices, and tools to strengthen their capacity in these areas.
Coordination and Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including programme managers, project teams, donors, and partners, to ensure effective coordination and alignment of monitoring and accountability efforts across the PMS.
Learning and Innovation:
Foster a culture of learning and innovation by promoting reflective practice, capturing and sharing lessons learned, and identifying opportunities for improvement in programmes or project design and implementation.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with relevant policies, guidelines, and regulations, and identify and mitigate risks associated with monitoring, evaluation, and accountability activities.
What we are looking for:
Education & Knowledge
Master's degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a relevant field, such as Evaluation Sciences, is highly relevant for this role.
Work Experience
4 to 5 years of experience in the relevant field.
