Key Responsibilities:

Operate the hospital's telephone exchange system, efficiently handling incoming and outgoing calls.
Direct calls to the appropriate departments and personnel.
Provide accurate information to callers, including hospital services, directions, and general inquiries.
Handle emergency calls and relay critical information promptly.
Maintain an up-to-date directory of hospital departments and staff extensions.
Log and report any issues with the telephone system to the IT or maintenance departments.
Assist with paging and intercom systems as needed.
Perform additional administrative duties as required.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent / Bachelor.
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously with a calm and professional demeanor.
Proficient in using telephone exchange systems and basic computer applications.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if required.
