Strategic Leadership

  • Provides professional high-level human resource advice to the Director HR and the Executive.
  • Provides strategic leadership in the provision of a quality customer focused timely and cost effective human resource management service.
  • Ensures the Department meets its statutory obligations in relation to strategic resource management.

Strategic Planning

  •  Participates in the strategic planning and operational plans to implement the Department's objectives.
  •  Ensures organisational aims and objectives in relation to human resources are achieved according to the organizational Plan and the Department's Strategic Plan while complying with relevant legislation and policies and standards.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Represents the Department on forums and tribunals and negotiates with stakeholders.

Business Improvement

  • Develops appropriate human resource policies procedures and guidelines for the Department and provides presentations to Corporate Executive and departmental staff.
  • Plans, directs, and continuously improves the efficiency and effectiveness of the Human Resources Department.

People Development and Culture

  •  Leads multidiscipline teamsand ensures appropriate skills and expertise are available within the organization to ensure optimum performance and multi skilling of staff linked to workforce plan.
  • Provides high-level advice to management to build a high-performing workforce in a supportive and changing work environment.

Employees Engagement:

  • Develop and implement employee engagement plan.
