Assist patients in understanding the X-ray procedure.
Position patients correctly to capture accurate diagnostic images.
Ensure patient comfort and safety during the procedure.
Prepare and set up X-ray machines and related equipment.
Perform routine maintenance and cleanliness checks on X-ray equipment.
Report equipment malfunctions or necessary repairs to the supervisor.
Support technicians in developing or uploading digital X-ray images.
Ensure images are labeled correctly and stored securely in compliance with medical regulations.
Maintain accurate patient records and logs of imaging procedures.
Follow radiation safety protocols and guidelines for patients and staff.
Ensure the use of protective gear such as lead aprons and shields.
Adhere to all medical regulations and organizational policies.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
Assist with billing and insurance documentation related to X-ray services.
Provide clerical support to the radiology department as needed.
