Admin Officer is responsible to do the following activities: 

1.  House Keeping / Sanitation:

  • Supervise the housekeeping / janitorial staff for maintaining the neat & clean working environment in production halls, offices and outdoors.
  • Supervision to ensure the best sanitary conditions are maintained within the factory.
  • Ensure that the house keeping / janitorial staff is properly working on the designated places.
  • Conduct daily visit of the factory to monitor cleanliness and take corrective actions as needed.

2.  Civil Work / Building Maintenance:

  • Responsible to ensure that all building maintenance related activities are done on time.
  • Responsible to receive maintenance requests and plan maintenance as needed.
  • Visit to identify the maintenance requirements in the factory.
  • Assign tasks to the plumber, welder, carpenter & other relevant staff and review their productivity for effective use of resources.
  • Ensure that the lifts are timely repaired and maintained.

3.  Electric Department:

  • Supervise the Electric Department of the company.
  • Receive work orders related to electric maintenance and analysis for cost-effective corrective and preventive maintenance as needed.
  • Ensure that the electric wiring, circuits and panels are free from potential Safety hazards.
  • Ensure that the generators are timely repaired and maintained. i.e. change of filters and oil etc.
  • Ensure that the Air conditioners and cooling units are properly working and maintained.
  • Carry out service of air conditions in the start of season.
  • Maintain proper billing record of AC service and repair and forward to the purchase manager for payment after verification.
  • Ensure proper count of movable electrical appliances like pedestal fans, electric heaters, water coolers, air coolers. And also ensure that these are properly cleaned, packed and stored during seasonal shifting.

4.   Horticulture / Gardening:

  • Ensure that the green area and plants are properly maintained.
  • Ensure that the green fields are timely mowed.
  • Arrange the seasonal flower’s seeds or seedling for timely plantation.
  • Green Fences are properly trimmed and shaped.
  • To monitor contractual horticulture staff as per their contract.

5.  Messes:

  • He is responsible to manage messes of the company.
  • To ensure that mess contractor is working as per contract.
  • To ensure food safety, medical check ups of cooking & serving staff, weekly meeting of mess committee and other messes related general issues.

6.  Utility Services:

  • He is responsible to manage matters related to electricity, Sui Gas & Telephone etc.
  • To liaison with GEPCO, SNGPL & PTCL etc to rectify the issues.
  • To get new connection or close existing as per requirement of the company.
  • To rectify are utility services related issues.

7.  Security:

  • He has the ultimate responsibility of overall Security of Personnel, Information, and Materials of the company.
  • Establish security plans, procedures, C-TPAT and other related documents with the consultation of HOD.
  • Training and awareness of security guards and employees on the security policy.
  • Responsible for the deployment of security personnel and maintain the weekly/monthly duty roster.
  • Random checking of security guards available on the different locations.
  • Responsible to identifying and control any unauthorized and unwanted access in the company.
  • Responsible to ensure proper working of security cameras, monitoring through security cameras, and planning and ensuring that all sensitive areas are covered, and footages recorded for record.
  • Responsible to assign responsibilities to the security staff and ensure the security plans are understood, implemented and maintained.
  • Recommend appropriate corrective/preventive action as a result of investigation of any incident, audit or potential security requirements.
  • In case of any nonconformity, he is responsible to investigate the root causes and implementation the corrective / preventive actions with due approval of the management.
