Security Guard

We are currently seeking a vigilant and experienced Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our office premises, employees, and assets.

Responsibilities:

Regularly to maintain order and establish a visible security presence
Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems
Control access to the premises by screening visitors and managing the entry/exit of employees and guests
Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities
Conduct regular inspections of security equipment and ensure they are in proper working condition
Provide assistance and support during emergency situations such as fires or medical emergencies
Collaborate with management to develop and implement security policies and procedures

Requirements:

Previous experience as a security guard, preferably in a corporate environment
Prior experience in the police force or military (retired personnel are highly preferred)
Strong observational and surveillance skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods and perform patrols
Basic knowledge of security systems and procedures
High school diploma or equivalent
