We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our software house. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the software industry and a proven track record in business development, sales, and client relationship management. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research and Analysis

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and market trends.
  • Analyze competitors and industry developments to stay ahead in the market.

Lead Generation and Networking

  • Identify and generate leads through various channels such as networking, referrals, and online research.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to establish connections.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored software solutions.

Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals.

Collaboration and Teamwork

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop lead generation strategies.
  • Collaborate with the software development team to ensure client requirements are met.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance and market trends to management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the software industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
