1. Audit Planning:
- Assist in the development of the annual audit plan.
- Conduct preliminary surveys and risk assessments to identify high-risk areas.
2. Audit Execution:
- Perform audits according to the audit plan.
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
- Test the accuracy and reliability of financial reports.
- Assess compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
3. Audit Reporting:
- Document audit findings and prepare reports to communicate the results of audit activities to management.
- Recommend improvements to internal controls and operational efficiencies.
- Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure implementation.
4. Risk Management:
- Identify key areas of risk within the organization and propose mitigating actions.
- Work with management to develop risk management strategies.
5. Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure the organization adheres to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Promote ethical practices and standards of conduct across the organization.
6. Special Projects and Investigations:
- Conduct special audits and investigations as required.
- Participate in fraud detection and prevention initiatives.
7. Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in auditing.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance audit skills and knowledge.
