We are looking for a talented Assistant Manager - Laboratory (R&D Focus) to lead laboratory operations, ensure quality control, and drive research and development initiatives. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in improving product quality and developing new solutions that meet evolving customer needs and market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

Laboratory Operations:

Conduct rigorous tests on raw materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
Monitor production processes and implement quality control measures.
Prepare test reports and maintain accurate records of all laboratory activities.
Supervise and train lab technicians, enforcing safety protocols and procedures.

Research & Development (R&D):

Develop new formulations and improve existing products to align with customer needs and market trends.
Conduct experiments to test materials, additives, and processes.
Collaborate with production and sales teams to align R&D initiatives with business goals.
Create prototypes and samples for customer trials, incorporating feedback into final designs.
Provide technical expertise and support to optimize production processes.

What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5yrs previous experience in lab management, quality control, and R&D, preferably in the masterbatch industry.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Passion for innovation and process improvement.
