We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our dynamic software development team. As a Software QA Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of our web applications. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, execute, and maintain effective test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify and report software defects.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to ensure the delivery of high-quality web applications to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and functional specifications.
- Execute manual and automated tests to identify software defects, ensuring the reliability and quality of our web applications.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to understand software requirements, provide input on design decisions, and contribute to the overall product quality.
- Investigate and analyze reported defects, identifying their root causes and proposing effective solutions.
- Track, monitor, and document test results, ensuring timely reporting of issues and progress to the project team.
- Continuously improve and optimize the QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software quality assurance and testing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Software QA Engineer, preferably focused on web application testing.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience in designing and executing manual and automated test cases using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with different web browsers, operating systems, and mobile platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, managing priorities and meeting deadlines.
