JOB PURPOSE:
The incumbent will be responsible to implement the social mobilization approach of programmes in line with IRP strategy to empower communities in the target areas, especially women and children, so that they are more aware about their entitlements including social, economic and civil rights. The Intern will also support IRP’s Emergency Response team which aim to ensure general communities (especially women and children) in the areas, are able to live in an environment in which their rights are protected
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implementation of project/program activities as per business process & project documents
- Development of work plans for timely implementation
- Accurately input data into databases and systems.
- Verify and update existing data for accuracy and completeness
- Organize and maintain soft files and records.
- Maintain and manage data records, ensuring all information is stored securely and is easily accessible.
- Assist in the management and maintenance of databases.
- Support in creating and running queries to extract data.
- Review data for errors, inconsistencies, or deficiencies
- Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents.
- Provide technical assistance to project staff
- Organize and maintain documentation, ensuring it is up-to-date and properly filed
- Assist in the preparation of periodic data reports.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all data and information
- Adhere to data privacy and confidentiality regulations and policies.
- Any other task assigned by the supervisor
Other Skills Required
- Good written and spoken English language. (essential)
- Sympathy with the aims and objectives of Islamic Relief. (essential)
- Committed & detail-oriented. (essential)
- Good team player. (essential)
- Be able to work under pressure. (essential)
- Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator or similar position.
- Excellent typing skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with data entry software and databases.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
