Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the credentialing process for healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Conduct thorough background checks, including verification of education, training, licenses, and certifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the credentialing database.
- Collaborate with various departments to streamline credentialing processes and resolve any issues that arise.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management regarding credentialing activities and compliance status.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to credentialing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in credentialing, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of credentialing regulations and standards.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in credentialing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
