We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shipping and logistics, excellent knowledge of shipping terms, and the ability to manage and coordinate shipments efficiently. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and track shipments from origin to destination.
- Work closely with shipping companies to obtain competitive pricing for shipments.
- Create courier labels and ensure accurate documentation for each shipment.
- Maintain comprehensive shipping data, including tracking information, shipping terms, and pricing details.
- Regularly update and organize shipping records.
- Arrange and prepare necessary clearance documents for shipments.
- Follow up on the customs clearance process to ensure timely and smooth processing.
- Verify shipping invoices for accuracy and adherence to pricing agreements.
- Address discrepancies and work with vendors to resolve billing issues.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with shipping companies and vendors.
- Negotiate and secure favorable shipping terms and rates.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a graduate degree in Supply Chain Management
- At least 5 years of experience in similar field
- Fluent in English (both written )
