You will play a crucial role in managing and facilitating the visa application process for employees across various global locations. You will ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations while supporting the smooth movement of personnel for international assignments and business trips.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Visa Application Management:

    • Coordinate and complete the visa application process from initiation to completion for employees.
    • Review and verify visa application documents for accuracy and completeness.
    • Communicate effectively with employees and HR to gather necessary information and documentation.
  2. Compliance & Legal Requirements:

    • Stay updated with changes in immigration laws and regulations in various countries.
    • Work closely with legal counsel and immigration consultants to resolve complex issues and ensure compliance with local laws and company policies.
  3. Support for International Assignments:

    • Assist in the preparation of documents required for international assignments (e.g., work permits, residency permits, and entry visas).
    • Provide guidance and support to expatriates and their families regarding visa processes and requirements.
  4. Data Management & Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of visa applications, approvals, and denials.
    • Generate reports on visa application status, trends, and compliance metrics for management review.
  5. Communication & Stakeholder Management:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for visa-related inquiries from employees and managers.
    • Liaise with government agencies, consulates, and immigration authorities to resolve issues and expedite visa processing.
    • Collaborate with HR, Global, and Legal teams to streamline processes and improve visa application efficiency.
  6. Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance the visa application experience.
    • Develop and deliver training sessions or materials related to visa processes for HR and employees as needed.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in IR, HR, BBA, or a related field.
  2. Experience as a Visa Specialist, Immigration Consultant, or similar role is preferred.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels.
