Responsibilities
- Thorough knowledge and experience of Java, J2ee & Java Applets and SYBASE platform, Software Development processes & Object-Oriented Design (OOD), EJB, JSP, servelets.
- Strong web programming skills (HTML, DHTML, AJAX and JSPs), JDBC and complex SQL query.
3. To ensure all regulatory guidelines and bank’s risk parameters are considered during the development phase for assurance of operational efficiency and controls, based on Bank’s risk policy.
- Understanding of core Banking and its complementary applications, excellent analytical skills.
- To ensure that all stage wise projects related documentation is prepared and recorded as per prescribed process for audit trail purposes.
- To participate in ensuring that a proper process is in place for custodianship of relevant data, MIS and reports to manage any situation demanding disaster management / data recovery.
- To ensure healthy and cordial coordination with stake holders while maintaining quality of service delivery to internal as well as external customers.
- To ensure:
- that updated MIS reports with analysis are available to measure progress of the project against expected deliverables.
- Planned projects are lined up for execution in view of priority and impact on the bottom line of the Bank.
- On-going projects are carried out for completion as per agreed timelines to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Project teams carry positive and supporting attitude for healthy coordination with stake holders to ensure results closer to the expectations.
- Systems are developed keeping in mind the Bank’s Security Framework.
9. To ensure a healthy team environment to promote coordination, continuous learning and mutual growth at all times.
10. Maintaining punctuality of self and to carry out any adhoc tasks assigned by the Deputy Head of IT and / or the Head of IT.
