Fashion Designer

We are seeking a talented Fashion Designer specializing in knitted fabrics to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating innovative designs for apparel, caps, and bags using our manufactured knitted fabrics. This role requires a creative and detail-oriented individual with a passion for fashion and a keen eye for trends.

Responsibilities:

Develop creative concepts and design ideas for apparel, caps, and bags using our manufactured knitted fabrics.
Collaborate with the design team to translate concepts into sketches, technical drawings, and prototypes.
Conduct market research to stay informed about current trends, styles, and consumer preferences.
Create mood boards, color palettes, and fabric swatches to communicate design concepts effectively.
Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing and meet quality standards.
Make adjustments to designs based on feedback from stakeholders, including clients, merchandisers, and buyers.
Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and new techniques in knitted fabric design.
Assist with sourcing materials, trims, and embellishments for prototype development and production.
Prepare detailed design specifications and tech packs for sample development and production.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including pattern makers, sample makers, and manufacturers, to bring designs to life.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
Proven experience as a Fashion Designer, preferably specializing in knitted fabrics.
Strong portfolio showcasing original designs and creative concepts.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD.
Excellent sketching and illustration skills.
Knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and sewing techniques.
Understanding of color theory, textiles, and fabric manipulation techniques.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
