We are seeking a skilled Shopify Developer / Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain e-commerce stores on the Shopify platform. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Shopify development, customizing themes, building apps, and integrating third-party services to create a seamless user experience. The developer will work closely with design and marketing teams to implement custom features, ensuring an efficient and engaging online store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop web applications from front-end to back-end.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code for both server-side and client-side components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, etc.) to develop new features.
- Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Develop server-side logic and APIs using languages like Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java.
- Manage databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL) and ensure efficient data retrieval and storage.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain high standards of coding practices.
- Continuously monitor and improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of applications.
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify websites and applications.
- Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Implement third-party apps, APIs, and integrations (payment gateways, shipping solutions, etc.).
- Optimize the website for performance, scalability, and SEO.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize site issues for an enhanced user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, marketing, etc.) to meet business requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify features, trends, and best practices.
- Provide ongoing support and updates for eCommerce platforms.
- Ensure website security and performance optimization.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Shopify platform, Liquid templating language, and Shopify APIs.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with Shopify Plus and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of eCommerce best practices (UX/UI, SEO, site performance).
- Experience with version control tools like Git.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Vue.js, or Angular).
- Proficiency in back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, etc.).
- Experience with database management (SQL, NoSQL, etc.).
- Knowledge of web servers (Apache, Nginx) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
- Familiarity with version control (Git, GitHub).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems with creative solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
