We are looking for a motivated and experienced Upwork Bidder to expand our presence and generate business on Upwork.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Upwork platform, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of winning projects and building client relationships.

As an Upwork Bidder, you will be responsible for identifying and bidding on relevant projects, crafting compelling proposals, and effectively communicating our value proposition to potential clients.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Identify and evaluate potential projects and opportunities on the Upwork platform that align with our expertise and services.

  • Research client needs, project requirements, and competition to develop tailored and competitive proposals.

  • Write clear, concise, and persuasive proposals that highlight our capabilities, experience, and value proposition.

  • Customize proposals and communicate with clients to understand their requirements and expectations.

  • Maintain a proactive approach to bidding by monitoring new project listings, responding to invitations, and following up on leads.

  • Build and nurture relationships with clients through effective communication, timely responses, and professional interactions.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and project management, to align bidding efforts with business objectives.

  • Track and analyze bidding activities, performance metrics, and outcomes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in the Upwork platform to maintain competitiveness.

  • Represent the company professionally and positively in all client interactions and engagements.

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.

  • 2 years of experience as an Upwork Bidder or in a similar role, with a successful track record of winning projects and generating revenue.

  • Strong understanding of the Upwork platform, including its features, policies, and bidding process.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.

  • Solid organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in crafting proposals, analyzing project requirements, and managing client communications.

  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets and goals related to project acquisition and revenue generation.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

  • Adaptability and flexibility to adjust bidding strategies and approaches based on client feedback and market dynamics.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools for tracking and reporting bidding activities.
