KEY OBJECTIVE



The Business Development Manager for Defence will be the key Oracle representative within the Pakistan Defence Organisation. As senior representative this position will provide leadership and focus to the virtual team and will drive business opportunities across all lines of our software license business including all business application solutions and all technology products. Generating business opportunities through prospecting, mass market programs and leveraging relationships will be key to success of this role. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in working with Defence as either ex military or service provider role, will have strong senior contacts within Defence and knowledge of how software products can meet the business needs of Defence.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES


? Provides leadership to the virtual Defence team
? Generates business opportunities through prospecting mass market programs and leveraging third party partners.
? Acts as primary liaison between all Oracle lines of business including License Sales, Consulting, and Oracle Development for the products sales opportunties.
? Develops and coordinates a worldwide relationship that establishes Oracle as a preferred vendor and optimizes Oracle's sales of product.
? Executes aggressive strategies and plans to successfully drive the product as the preferred customer selection.
? Provides account representatives with information on how the product addresses specfic needs, and assists account representatives in using Oracle's products to leverage large revenue opportunities.
? Assists in articulating product message, coordinates technical resources and successful closes referenceable deals.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE and TRAINING


? Knowledge of or experience in working with the Pakistan Defence Organisation
? Demonstrated aptitude for solving business problems using technology and applications.
? Strong executive selling skills as well as a demonstrated success in establishing and developing client relationships.
? Marketing and business development experience preferred.
? Ability to work with and communicate effectively with multiple colleagues in a team selling environment.
? Business and account planning implementation experience. Conversant in Oracle technology and product strategies.
? Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
? Ability to travel as required.
? BA/BS degree or equivalent.
