Aahung is a Karachi-based NGO that has been working to improve the sexual health of men, women and adolescents since 1995. We believe that all human beings have the right to sexual health and other human rights, as enshrined by the United Nations and ratified by all of its member states.
Through our interventions and activities, we aim to raise awareness and self-esteem, to improve health-seeking behavior and to promote healthy relationships based on equality and respect.
Aahung is recognized as an expert in the area of sexual health and rights in Pakistan. Our experience of working with a number of partners since 1995 has enabled us to develop innovative and interactive training, clinical and advocacy programs addressing a broad range of sexual health issues in Pakistan.
Presently, the Aahung team engages in awareness raising, capacity building, advocacy and research and resource development. We also offer a range of consultancies, tailored to the specific needs of our partner organizations.
