Financial Record Keeping:
- Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in all transactions.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Provide insights into financial performance and variance analysis.
Tax and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and manage correspondence with tax authorities.
Internal Controls:
- Implement and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Account Reconciliation:
- Reconcile various accounts, including expense and revenue accounts.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments to support financial planning and analysis.
- Provide financial information and support to management and external auditors.
