Be responsible for the efficient development of multiple projects varying in size and complexity.
Showcase a proven understanding of construction detailing at the commercial level.
Be responsible for the accuracy and completeness of construction documents and coordination with other disciplines.
Professionally interact with all project stakeholders.
Be a responsible and integral part of commercial projects from initiation to construction and closeout.
Assist in coordinating and satisfying CDA requirements.
Manage the quality and timeliness of the execution of the work.
Responsible for overall production-related efforts and for coordination of assigned commercial projects with the design team for all phases of a project.
Oversee the quality and timeliness of the execution of the commercial project work.
Ensures the initiation and maintenance of commercial project logs, notebooks, and files.
Arranges quality assurance reviews at appropriate stages in the development of the commercial project documentation.
Responsible for day-to-day communications with consultants and government agencies
Makes appearances before client groups, the building department, other government agencies, etc. as required to advance the project towards construction and eventual occupancy.

Duties

Develop and document architectural building systems and design details.
Collaborates on selections of materials, colors, and finishes.
Coordinates information required for the execution of project specifications.
Ensure a detailed review of the final drawings and specifications.

Experience in acting as the liaison with consultants and individuals outside the firm with responsibility for technical matters about architectural projects.
Supervise and direct individuals on staff in their assignments.
Ability to take responsibility for the commercial project production process, including the organization, execution, and coordination of those projects.
Be able to provide leadership and direction for the establishment of commercial project production standards and to self-direct, self-control, and self-monitor all activities on assigned projects.

Education: Bachelor's in architecture.

Experience: 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in residential and commercial projects
