Key Responsibilities:
Product Expertise:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of our industrial automation products and solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Customer Engagement:
- Identify and engage with potential customers to understand their automation needs.
- Provide technical advice and tailor solutions to meet customer requirements.
Sales Presentations:
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits of our automation solutions.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive proposals and quotes to potential clients.
Relationship Building:
- Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers, engineers, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their long-term goals and provide value-added solutions.
Technical Support:
- Offer pre-sales and post-sales technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with the technical team to address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Quota Attainment:
- Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas through effective sales strategies.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share.
Market Intelligence:
- Stay abreast of market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Provide valuable feedback to the product development team based on market demands.
Qualifications:
Technical Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation technologies.
Sales Skills:
- Proven track record in technical sales, preferably in the automation or related industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Problem-Solving:
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address customer challenges.
Customer-Focused:
- Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to building and maintaining long-term relationships.
- Ability to understand and address customer needs effectively.
Adaptability:
- Ability to adapt to evolving market conditions and technological advancements.
- Willingness to learn and stay updated on industry developments.
Travel:
- Some travel may be required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct on-site visits.
