Reports To: Project Manager/Owner

Responsibilities:

Site Surveys:

Conduct comprehensive site surveys for solar installations, including assessing the physical site conditions and evaluating potential challenges.
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and constraints.
Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on site surveys, including quantities, costs, and specifications of all required materials and labor.

Project Supervision:

Oversee the installation work carried out by third-party contractors, ensuring adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve any issues that arise during installation.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of projects.

Installation Expertise:

Must have hands-on experience in solar project installations and be capable of installing solar systems as required.
Provide guidance and support to the installation team, ensuring that all installations are performed to the highest standards

Quality Assurance:

Verify that the completed installation meets the required standards and performance specifications.
Perform post-installation inspections and generate reports to ensure that all aspects of the project are completed satisfactorily.
Address any deficiencies or issues identified during inspections and ensure prompt resolution.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in solar installation projects or similar fields.
Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and site management practices.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
