We are seeking an experienced Turbine Supervisor to oversee and manage the dismantling, refurbishment, erection, testing and commissioning of turbine systems including MIV, Spiral Case, Draft Tube and Irrigation Valves. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Turbine with strong leadership skills and leading multiple teams. This role requires both relevant technical expertise and a solid background in general management of the teams on site. He should have hands on experience within large hydro power plants having capacity of 100MW at least.
Job Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise: Oversee the dismantling, refurbishment, erection, testing, and commissioning of Turbine System, MIV and IVs.
MIV Dismantling: Safely disassemble Turbine/MIV/IV components, ensuring all parts are properly cataloged and stored.
Refurbishment: Assess and refurbish MIV components to restore them to operational standards.
Erection: Reassemble and install refurbished Turbine/MIV/IV components, ensuring proper alignment and integration with existing systems.
Testing and Commissioning: Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of the Turbine/MIV/IV to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Quality Control: Ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of supervisors, fitters and technicians and to foster a productive work environment.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
HSE Compliance: Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance throughout all project phases.
Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with client, contractors, and other contractors to ensure clear communication and coordination.
Documentation: Prepare detailed project reports, condition report for refurbished parts, technical documentation, and progress updates.

The project was completed in a record time of less than four months. AEPL provided services for Camp Buildup, Substation, Civil Works, Erection & Testing. Presently the Operations Staff of AEPL is supporting GE in O&M 225 MW Balloki Power Project AEPL is the Construction Contractor of 225MW Balloki Power Project. Notice to Proceed was issued to EP Contractor Skodaexport and C Contracor AEPL on December 30, 2005. The Project is based on 2x6FA Gas Turbines from GE in Combined Cycle Mode with Steam Turbine from Skodaexport and HRSGs from Alstom, Czech Republic. Currently Civil Works & Man Camp Construction are ongoing at site.GE has also signed 18 Years O&M Agreement with Orient Power Company (Pvt) Ltd. AEPL is supporting GE as variable Sales Channel.
