The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive technical support to end-users across a range of IT systems and applications. They will be the first point of contact for resolving technical issues, diagnosing problems, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues. They will also provide user training and support, maintain asset inventory, and perform regular maintenance and updates on end-user devices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide prompt and effective technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
  2. Diagnose and resolve basic computer hardware and software issues.
  3. Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to hardware, software, and networks.
  4. Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, and other end-user devices.
  5. Configure and maintain network connectivity for end-user devices.
  6. Provide user training and support on various software applications.
  7. Maintain asset inventory and documentation.
  8. Perform regular maintenance and updates on end-user devices.
  9. Escalate complex issues to senior IT personnel.
  10. Document technical issues and resolutions.
  11. Provide technical support to other IT personnel.
  12. Stay up-to-date with the latest IT technologies, trends, and best practices, ensuring the team's knowledge and skills remain relevant.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. 01-02 years of experience as an IT Help Desk Technician, Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or a similar role.
  2. Technical degree/ bachelor’s degree in the field of Computer science, information technology, or relevant field.
  3. Strong understanding of computer hardware and software, including operating systems, network protocols, and various software applications.
  4. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Proficient in using IT asset management software and tools.
  7. Experience with vendor management and relationship building.
  8. Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
  9. Proactive and results-oriented approach to problem-solving.

Salary Package: Up-to 70,000/- (Negotiable)
