Job responsibilities include:

Designing, configuring, and maintaining network infrastructure such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
Managing network security and troubleshooting network-related issues.
Monitoring network performance and capacity, and making adjustments as needed.
Managing and maintaining network-attached storage and virtual private networks (VPNs).
Providing technical support to end-users and other members of the IT team.
Researching and implementing new technologies to improve network performance and security.
Collaborating with other IT professionals to implement projects and support business objectives.

The ideal candidate should have:

Strong knowledge of network protocols, topologies and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
Experience with network security best practices and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and ability to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues.
Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
Understanding of cloud-based networking.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, etc. are a plus.
