As the SEO Team Lead at Xyz.com, you play a critical role in developing and executing our search engine optimization strategies to enhance our online presence and visibility. With your technical knowledge and leadership skills, you will manage a dedicated team of 10 professionals, guiding them through the process of optimizing website content, conducting keyword research, and analyzing performance metrics to drive organic traffic.

Your extensive experience, spanning at least five years in SEO, equips you to stay abreast of industry trends and algorithm updates. You will be responsible for implementing best practices and innovative strategies to improve our search rankings while providing mentorship and training to your team. You encourage a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making, ensuring the team's efforts yield valuable results and contribute to Xyz.com's growth.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of 10 SEO specialists and analysts, providing guidance and support in their daily tasks.
Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive SEO strategies that align with company objectives.
Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimization and expansion.
Optimize website content, including landing pages and blog posts, to improve search engine rankings.
Analyze website performance using SEO tools and analytics software, generating reports for stakeholders.
Stay updated on SEO trends and algorithm changes, implementing the necessary adjustments to strategies.
Collaborate with content, marketing, and development teams to ensure cohesive and effective SEO practices.
Conduct competitive analysis to assess the strengths and weaknesses of competitors SEO strategies.
Train and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Set achievable goals for the team, tracking progress and adjusting strategies as needed to meet targets.
