Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - GCP

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - GCP, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and continuous integration/deployment pipelines. You will help drive the development of our cloud-native solutions while ensuring that our systems are reliable, scalable, and efficient. While expertise in GCP and CI/CD is required, some experience with Microsoft Azure will be beneficial for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and maintain GCP-based cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
Develop, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment of cloud-native applications.
Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
Work with development teams to ensure smooth and efficient continuous integration and deployment workflows.
Monitor and optimize the cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes for efficiency and performance.
Ensure best practices for security, reliability, and performance in the cloud environment.
Work with Microsoft Azure for related cloud operations and integrations as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and hands-on experience in managing cloud infrastructure.
Strong expertise in CI/CD tools and processes .
Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services and basic infrastructure management.
Strong understanding of cloud security, performance optimization, and cost management.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in cloud environments.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a fintech or financial services environment.
Certifications in GCP (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Architect) are a plus.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (optional).
