The Payroll Officer will be responsible for accurately processing and managing payroll for our employees and ensuring compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local payroll regulations. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of payroll processes, tax laws, and is highly organized.
Payroll Processing: Accurately process and manage the company's payroll for employees, including calculating hours, deductions, taxes, and other withholdings.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized payroll records and documentation.
Employee Inquiries: Address and resolve employee payroll-related inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner.
Reports and Documentation: Prepare and maintain payroll reports, summaries, and other documentation for management and auditing purposes.
Collaboration: Collaborate with the HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless and accurate payroll processing.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in payroll processing to suggest and implement process improvements.
