We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Truck Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling freight transportation, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods. This role involves close communication with drivers, customers, and carriers to optimize routes, resolve issues, and maintain excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule freight pick-ups and deliveries.
- Assign loads to drivers based on factors such as location, equipment, and availability.
- Monitor driver progress and provide updates to customers.
- Resolve issues and delays in a timely manner.
- Create and maintain accurate shipment documentation.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
- Utilize dispatch software to optimize routes and track shipments.
- Provide exceptional customer service to both drivers and clients.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in dispatch software and transportation regulations.
- Knowledge of the trucking industry preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- This job may require working irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously is essential.
