We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Trucking and Dispatching Specialist to coordinate and manage our trucking operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispatching trucks, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. If you have excellent communication skills, a passion for logistics, and experience in dispatching, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Dispatch trucks and coordinate logistics with drivers, customers, and 3rd-party carriers.
- Track shipments, monitor delivery schedules, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams via phone, email, and SMS.
- Manage and update dispatch software, spreadsheets, and other tracking systems.
- Analyze and resolve delivery issues, complaints, and concerns.
- Collaborate with operations teams to optimize routes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
- Comply with regulations, laws, and company policies.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in trucking dispatching, logistics, or transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Logistics, Transportation, or related field preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in dispatch software, Google Maps, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and conflict resolution.
