Job Responsibilities:

Identifying and selecting fabrics suitable for Western wear production
Building and maintaining a strong network of fabric suppliers.
Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve competitive advantages
Conducting fabric testing and quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards
Monitoring market trends and staying up-to-date with new fabric developments
Collaborating closely with the design and production teams to ensure seamless integration of fabric sourcing processes

Requirements:

Proven experience in fabric sourcing preferably for Western wear
In-depth knowledge of various types of fabrics used in western wear, including their characteristics and properties
Strong negotiation and communication skills to build effective relationships with suppliers
Careful attention to detail in fabric evaluation, quality control, and compliance monitoring
Analytical mindset to analyze market trends, pricing structures, and supplier capabilities
Proficiency in using fabric testing equipment and software tools
