We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant working REMOTELY to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations and reports.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
General Accounting:
- Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and trial balances.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Team Leadership:
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

Language: Spoken English is compulsory
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Partly Qualified CA With Articles, ACCA
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.

Skills:

Proficiency in accounting software
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
