We are seeking hard-working, enthusiastic, and motivated Human Resource Manager to join our team. You’ll be joining a business that truly invests in its staff with bespoke training and ongoing progression opportunities. 

You will be reporting directly to the MD, this is a highly influential HR role where you will be key in developing a high-performance culture and keeping purpose & values alive! Your role will cover all policy & processes, employee relations, recruitment, learning & development, and workforce planning. You'll be providing advice and guidance to stakeholders in the business and work closely with them on projects related to organizational change and process efficiencies.

An ideal candidate is someone who:

·       Has experience as HR Manager for 3+ years

·       Has a Masters in Organizational Psychology

·       Organized, flexible, and maintains a high level of confidentiality.

·       Strong customer focus and ability to establish professional relationships across the organization

·       Highly organized and able to prioritize work in a busy environment

·       High level of integrity, diligence and conscientiousness

·       Proactive and results-focused

·       Practically minded: able to roll sleeves up and get stuck in!

·       Has an awareness of diversity and inclusion issues, trends, and legislation, and a pro-active approach to keeping up-to-date with best practice

Role and Responsibilities

Recruitment

·       Own full-cycle of recruitment which involves developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing the job adverts, checking application forms

·       Pro-actively sourcing high-quality CV’s from a range of sources (including Database Search, Internet Research, Websites, Networking, Advertising etc.)

·        Creatively looking at direct sources for candidates

·       Updating and maintaining the recruitment database, searching the database for suitable candidates

Hiring

·       Shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates

·       Carrying out and presenting Interview assessments

·       Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization.

Onboarding and Training

·       Conducting New staff inductions

·       Carrying out Background Check

·       Cross-checking References

Employee Management

·       Administer payroll and maintain employee records-emergency contacts, bank details, personal information, etc

·       Devise plans for comprehensive monitoring of staff performance, health, and safety

·       Undertake regular salary review in agreement with MD

·       Develop and implement policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management

·       Prepare staff handbooks

·       Devise policies and provide advice on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits to current employees

·       Devise plans for structuring attendance, leave procedures, etc

·       Developing KPIs, ensuring that all employees are well-versed with their own KPIs and monitoring performance-based on those KPIs

·       Deal with grievances and implement disciplinary procedures

·       Work closely with key individuals within the business, assisting employees to understand and implement policies and procedures

·       Plan and deliver training, including Analyze training needs in conjunction with key individuals within the business

·       Develop HR planning strategies, which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements
