As a Video Editor at The Unicorn Media, you will be an integral part of our creative team, responsible for transforming raw footage into compelling video content. Your primary focus will be on producing high-quality videos that align with our brand's vision and engage our audience across multiple platforms. Success in this position looks like consistently delivering polished, creative, and engaging video content that meets project deadlines and exceeds client expectations.
Responsibilities:
● Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and client presentations.
● Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts and storyboards.
● Incorporate graphics, special effects, music, and sound effects to enhance video quality.
● Ensure video content meets brand guidelines and project specifications.
● Manage and organize media files for easy access and retrieval.
● Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques, tools, and trends to continuously improve the quality of our video content.
● Provide input on video production processes to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
● Conduct quality checks on final video outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Qualifications:
● Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
● Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Strong understanding of video production processes, including shooting, editing, and post-production.
● Experience with motion graphics and special effects is a plus.
● A degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Skills:
● Excellent storytelling and direction skills, with the ability to guide visual storytelling
effectively.
● Proficiency in color grading, sound editing, and visual effects.
● Knowledge of the latest trends in video production and digital media
