The primary objectives of the Salesroom Lead role include:

  • Achieving sales targets and revenue goals by effectively managing the salesroom operations.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Leading, motivating, and coaching the sales team to maximize their performance and productivity.
  • Monitoring inventory levels, merchandising, and promotional activities to optimize sales opportunities.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth coordination and efficient salesroom operations.

Scope of Work:

The Salesroom Lead's scope of work includes but is not limited to the following:

Sales and Customer Service:

  • Drive sales by actively engaging with customers, providing product information, and resolving inquiries or concerns.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained throughout the salesroom.
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

 Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead and supervise the sales team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and motivation to maximize the team's sales potential.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and personal growth.

 Salesroom Operations:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the salesroom, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, trends, and performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with inventory control and purchasing teams to optimize stock levels and product availability.

Merchandising and Promotions:

  • Supervise and coordinate product displays, ensuring an attractive and organized salesroom layout.
  • Develop and implement promotional strategies and campaigns to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust merchandising and promotional efforts accordingly.

 Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure effective coordination and alignment of goals.
  • Communicate sales targets, objectives, and performance updates to the sales team and relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in regular meetings and provide feedback, insights, and recommendations to improve salesroom operations.

Reporting and Accountability:

The Salesroom Lead will report to the Sales Manager or another relevant supervisor. The lead will be accountable for meeting sales targets, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing the salesroom operations effectively.

Duration and Working Conditions:

The duration of the Salesroom Lead role will be for two years. The working conditions and hours will be in accordance with the organization's policies and the salesroom's operational requirements. The lead may be required to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, based on business needs.
