We are looking for the position of project manager play a crucial role in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of solar projects. Here's a breakdown of the job description:

Project Planning: The project manager is responsible for creating detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, Setting up site surveys and developing reports.They need to ensure that the project is feasible and aligns with the company's goals.
Team Management: They lead and coordinate the project team, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors. The project manager assigns tasks, monitors progress, and ensures that everyone is working towards the project's objectives. Ordering designs based on AHJ and utility requirements.
Risk Management: Identifying potential risks to the project's success and developing strategies to mitigate them is a key aspect of the role. This includes anticipating challenges related to permits, weather conditions, or supply chain disruptions. Reviewing the designs to ensure compliance with codes.
Quality Control: Ensuring that the solar project meets high-quality standards and complies with industry regulations and safety guidelines is essential. The project manager oversees inspections and quality assurance processes.
Getting approvals: applying for HOA, Permits and utility interconnections.
communicating with installers: calculating the material requirement, updating the installers about material delivery n scheduling the installs with client and installers according to availablity.
Client Communication: Maintaining regular communication with clients, stakeholders, and vendors is important. The project manager updates them on project progress, addresses concerns, and ensures client satisfaction.
Commissioning and setup: Setting up the monitoring for the installed system, scheduling final inspection by city, county or township and utility. Requesting for permission to operate from the utility.
Budget Management: Monitoring project expenses, tracking costs, and making adjustments to stay within budget are vital responsibilities. The project manager must also prepare financial reports and forecasts.
Documentation: Keeping accurate records, preparing reports, and documenting project milestones are part of the job. This includes maintaining project files, permits, and contracts.
Problem Solving: Resolving issues that arise during the project, such as delays, conflicts, or technical challenges, is a key skill for a project manager. They need to think quickly and find effective solutions.
