We are seeking a skilled and experienced House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of private residence. The House Manager will be responsible for managing household staff, coordinating household activities, and ensuring the smooth operation of all household systems and amenities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate household staff, including housekeepers, chefs, gardeners, drivers, and other personnel.
  • Develop and maintain schedules for household activities, including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintenance tasks.
  • Oversee household budgets, expenses, and financial records, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Manage household inventories, including food supplies, cleaning supplies, and household goods, and replenish as needed.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair activities for the residence, including scheduling contractors and overseeing renovations or remodeling projects.
  • Arrange and oversee special events, parties, and gatherings hosted at the residence, including guest accommodations, catering, and entertainment.
  • Maintain security protocols and ensure the safety and privacy of residents and property at all times.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, guests, and service providers, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Implement and enforce household policies and procedures, including staff protocols, safety guidelines, and emergency procedures.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as managing correspondence, maintaining records, and preparing reports for the homeowner.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a House Manager, Estate Manager, or similar role in a private residence, estate, or luxury property.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate household staff.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of household management best practices, including cleaning techniques, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with household technologies and systems, such as home automation, security systems, and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
